Werner Slezak was born in Vienna in 1967. In 1981 he began practising Tae Kwon Do, but soon switched from fighting sports to martial arts. He is primarily dedicated to the study of the Chinese Kung Fu under “Wang Li Fu”. He studied the basics of various classical Chinese styles, mainly Tai Chi Chuan (Yang style), Hsing I Chuan and Pa Kua Zhang. Simultaneously he started his training of Lung Hu Chuan, which is a special system that had been passed on in the family of his teacher. After his teacher went back home in 1986, Werner became his successor in Austria. In the course of the years and decades he exchanged his experiences with many other stylists and therefore broadened his horizon beyond the borders of his own style. Werner was able to use his skills and capabilities as martial artist in his professional career e.g. as a bouncer and security staff). Today, he regards martial arts as effective means of obtaining mental maturity as well as the unfolding of our own personality. Werner teaches in various national and international workshops and training courses.
